On behalf of GCAP Southern Nigeria Coalition, I hereby send the report of GCAP Southern Nigeria Coalition to mark the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty 2007

Stand up Against Poverty March/Rally was held at the Cultural Center Complex and the Millennium Park Calabar in partnership with member organisations of the coalition.

Demands were made on Political Leaders in Nigeria to allocate resources and judiciously spend it in Eradicating Poverty in Southern Nigeria and also meet other MDGs before 2015 especially in the Niger Delta region where Youth restiveness due to poverty and economic marginalisation is prevalent.
